Bhagavad Gita Classes

The Bhagavad Gita is the most comprehensive Eastern philosophical work on the true nature of the human being. Its study forms the foundation of all spiritual wisdom.
The profound teachings contained in its 700 verses allow us to understand the relationship between the body, the mind, and the soul, the implications of the law of karma, and how these implications shape our life experience.
It not only provides us with the knowledge needed to understand that the nature of our true self is spiritual, but also reveals how we can establish a real and eternal relationship with the Divine.

BV Raddhanti Svami is a Vaishnava monk in the Gaudiya Vaishnava tradition of Hinduism. With the blessings of his spiritual teacher, Srila Bhakti Vaibhav Puri Goswami Maharaj, he’s dedicated to sharing the spiritual message of universal love and devotion.
Born in Sicily in 1964, he was drawn to spirituality from a young age, and this natural inclination eventually led him to the path of Bhakti Yoga—a tradition that emphasizes the beauty and depth of the Absolute Truth.

Madhuvrata Das was born in the United Kingdom and raised in the culturally diverse city of Birmingham. His studies in fine arts sparked a deep curiosity about spirituality and mysticism, which led him to explore the Bhagavad Gita and other Vedic wisdom texts in his twenties. Moved by a longing for spiritual truth, he traveled to India in search of a teacher and was ultimately led to Srila Bhaktivedanta Narayana Gosvami Maharaj, who became a central teacher and inspiration in his life.
Soon after, Madhu embraced the life of a monk, living in the ashrams of his teacher in both India and the UK. This way of life gave him the chance to study the Vedic scriptures deeply and train in traditional Vedic arts such as vegetarian cooking, worship, kirtan, and wisdom sharing.
In 2006, he was invited into the direct service of his teacher, traveling the world as his personal chef until 2010. This close relationship offered him rare insight into the lives of spiritually advanced souls and taught him how to serve with care and devotion.
After his teacher’s passing in 2010, Madhu stepped away from monastic life and met his wife, Sarvesvari, in 2012. Together they’ve taken part in many spiritual initiatives, from teaching Vedic philosophy to cooking for large retreats and festivals. In 2022, Madhu published a photographic book with GVP titled Srila Gurudeva – A Darsana in Pictures, a tribute to his spiritual mentor.
Today, Madhu and Sarvesvari live in Sussex, UK, where they are restoring a medieval farmhouse. Their vision is to create a place for retreat, healing, and spiritual learning.
The Srimad Bhagavad Gita continues to be a powerful guide in Madhu’s life. He enjoys sharing his lived experience of Bhakti Yoga with others in a way that is relatable and heartfelt.

He later became a disciple of Śrīla Bhakti Vaibhava Purī Gosvāmī Mahārāj, a senior follower of Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura. He was formally initiated on February 1, 2002—his teacher’s Vyāsa-pūjā day—and traveled with him during his final three world tours.
